【辨异】nation、race与people 这三个词的区别在于nation指民族，通常指有自己的语言和历史，并且往往住在同一地区的一群人，如：the Jewish nation(犹太民族)。race指种族，通常指同一肤色或同一体型，源于同一祖先的人们，如：the white race (白种人);the European race (欧洲人)。people 指任何被视为一个单位人群的统称，强调文化和社会的统一，如：the American people (美国人民)。
