掖yē （塞进） tuck in; thrust in between: 把钱 ～ 在怀里 tuck away money in bossom; 把手帕 ～ 进口袋 tuck a handkerchief into a pocket; 把信从门缝里 ～ 进去 slip a letter under the door; 把打火机 ～ 进裤兜儿 thrust a lighter into one's trouser pocket; 腰里 ～ 着枪 with a pistol in one's belt; ～ ～ 藏藏 clandestinely; try to cover up; 把你的衬衫下摆 ～ 进裤腰里。 Tuck your shirt into your trousers.
