Midas:(Gr. myth.) i. e. king of Phrygia,who desiredto turn everything he touched to gold. The requestwas granted by Bacchus. But in the end even the food he touched became gold. So he implored the god ofwine to take favour back. 迈达斯，弗里吉亚国王，渴望点物成金，酒神巴克科斯赐他点金之术；结果，连他的食物也变成金子，最后他只有求酒神把这一恩赐收回。
