spend是及物动词还是不及物动词

    spend既是及物动词也是不及物动词，作及物动词时意为“度过，消磨(时光);花费;浪费;用尽”，作不及物动词时意为“花钱;用尽，耗尽”。spend还可以用作名词，作名词时意为“预算”。
    
    spend的用法是什么
    词语用法：
    spend可用作不及物动词，也可用作及物动词。用作及物动词时，只能以人作主语，接名词、代词作宾语。可用于被动结构。
    spend的宾语后可接动词不定式，表示目的，作状语。
    spend的宾语后常可接以介词in〔on,for〕引导的短语表示“把…花在…上”，介词宾语可以是名词，也可以是动名词。以动名词作宾语时介词in常可省略，尤其在口语中。
    spend可用于“主+谓+宾+主补”结构，主语补足语可由形容词或过去分词充当。
    spend的固定搭配
    1、在使用spend时,主语只能是表示人的名词或代词。例如:
    Andy spent a lot of money on books. Andy花了很多钱买书。
    2、spend time/money on sth.
    在……上花费时间(金钱).介词on后接名词或代词。
    例：I spent two hours on this maths problem.
    这道数学题花了我两个小时.
    3、spend time/money (in) doing sth.
    花费时间(金钱)做某事.介词in可以省略。
    例：They spent two years (in) building this bridge.

    pay,spend,take,cost均与“花费、消费”有关。
    ①pay意为“付款”、“支付”，通常主语是人。
    He must pay for his food.他必须付他的食品费。

    固定搭配有：pay sb.给某人付报酬 ;pay for sth.给某物付款;(sb.)pay money for sth.付(多少)钱购买某物。
    ②cost的主语是物。cost除了表示花费(多少)钱外，还可以表示花费(多少)时间。
    用法为It costs sb.some money.或Sth. cost sb . sometime.某物花费(多少)钱/时间。
    The TV cost me three thousand yuan.这台电视机花费我三千元。
    It took me about half an hour to do these exercise.花费我半个小时做这些练习。
    ③take作“花费”来讲主语可是人是物，其中常用it作形式主语。侧重指“花费时间”。
    用法为“It takes sb.some time to do sth.”表示to do sth.“花费”某人一段时间。真正的主语是后面的不定式。
